Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out what is and is not permitted when using Barosa FrontDesk AI. It is part of, and incorporated into, our Terms of Service. It applies to you, your staff, and your End Users. Violations may result in suspension or termination.

1. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use the Service to create, store, send, or facilitate:

  • Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content.
  • Content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other third-party rights.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that exploits or endangers minors.
  • Malware, or content designed to disrupt or damage any system.
  • Unsolicited bulk or spam messages, or messaging in violation of anti-spam, telemarketing, or consumer-protection laws.
  • Regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial) presented as authoritative without appropriate human oversight and disclaimers.

2. Security and integrity

You must not:

  • Attempt to breach tenant isolation or access another customer’s data.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures, without authorisation.
  • Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or billing, or share credentials to exceed plan entitlements.
  • Use the Service to reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or build a competing product.

3. AI-specific misuse

  • Do not attempt prompt injection or other techniques to override system instructions, extract system prompts or secrets, or make the AI act outside its intended scope.
  • Do not configure the AI to impersonate a real person without disclosure, to deceive End Users about their interacting with an automated system where disclosure is required, or to generate unlawful output.
  • Do not rely on AI output for high-risk decisions without human review.

4. Your responsibility for End Users

You are responsible for content in your knowledge base and for your End Users’ interactions with your widget and channels. You must provide any legally required notices to End Users (for example, that they are chatting with an AI assistant and how their data is used) and obtain any necessary consents.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access, with or without notice depending on severity. We may cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so to protect the Service and its users.
